My job...job? Ha!

It's 1:36am and I'm still in work. Lovin it because my work is my love, and my life. I test PHIs, and it's a beautiful thing to me. For me, anything that can help me to get further in my music is a blessing from God Almighty. It's like good gold, mated with that 500 carat diamond found recently.

What's a PHI, you may ask? For those of you who are familiar with the steelpan, indigenous to Trinidad & Tobago, the PHI is the digital version of the steelpan. The PHI, an acronym for Percussive Harmonic Instrument, gives the pan player access to all the possibilities that the electronic keyboard gave, and still gives, to the pianist. It's a synthesizer, using MIDI Musical Instrument Digital Interface) in the same way a keyboard does to allow the pan enthusiast to experiment with different tones. Hence, after years of wondering how a certain steelpan lick would sound in a trumpet's tone, one is finally able to try it out even if one doesn't know how to handle a trumpet. What I really love is the fact that it's been invented in the same country of it's ancestor, almost a full century later. And we have the bragging rights of patent to prove it. More information can be obtained about the PHI and its creators on their website, http://www.panadigm.com and at their facebook fan page.

My job is to test the PHIs and make sure they work properly for the market and the performers we loan them to on trial. I also write my music and record with it; so far I have worked with many young wonderful musicians and the collaborations are off the hook. Look out for some of them online soon. Time to get back to work...

I out.

Seriously...

I think I'll be doing this music thing on my own. Advice from the big fish is cool, whoever and whatever they be. But I don't wan to be tainted by anyone's occult belief. For we all know that folks get classed, sometimes truthfully and sometimes unfairly, simply by association. I believe that the blood of my Saviour is strong enough to shield me from their evil ways, but I will not let my career fail because I was seen talking to someone in the music business with alleged ties to the occult. By God's grace, I can and will make it...and I don't believe I need a Freemason's help to get there. For more information, google John Todd.

I out.

My music is coming online

Presently I am working on material soon to be released online and on air. There is no fixed genre, just pure vibes and messages. Listen to the lyrics while moving your feet and humming the melodies. I'll keep you posted; in the meantime keep http://www.myspace.com/ghostmantioli in your heads...that's where it all comes loose.

Blessed love.
